Our Marina is situated on the sea front of Carloforte,(6500 inhabitants) overlooking the pastel-painted houses of this charming town, with its extensive maritime history and Ligurian origins. It was founded in 1738 from a Genovese ( Pegliesi ) colony of coral fishermen who had previously occupied Tabarka, on the north African coast.
Here you will find here a warm welcome with good hospitality, many points of architectural interest and excellent cuisine - the speciality being the local tuna. ** The  world famous Giro Tonno  is a week long festival, which celebrates the ancient running of the Tuna through the Mediterranean.
